Auction Terms
Effective September 10, 2026 · KruseKontrolSportsCards
Bidding is binding
A bid is an offer to buy at that price. If you are the high bidder when the lot closes and any reserve has been met, you have agreed to buy it. Do not bid on anything you are not prepared to pay for.
Placing a bid may require a registered account and, for some lots, prior approval.
How bids are accepted
Bids are accepted in the order our server records them, and each bid is processed one at a time against the lot so two bids cannot be accepted at the same price. A bid below the current minimum increment is rejected rather than rounded up.
Our server’s clock decides when a lot closes, not your browser’s. A bid that arrives after close is not accepted, however it appeared on your screen.
Reserves and close
A lot may carry a reserve. If bidding does not reach it, the lot does not sell.
A bid placed close to the scheduled end may extend the lot’s closing time, so a lot under active bidding is not won by whoever bids last in the final second. Where this applies, the extension is shown on the lot.
Paying and shipping
The winning bid, plus shipping and any applicable sales tax, is payable promptly after close. Shipping is quoted for the lot in the same way as any other order, and the Shipping Policy applies in full.
Higher-value orders may require shipment insurance, signature confirmation, additional verification, or other delivery safeguards at Kansas Sports Vault's discretion.
Retractions and cancellation
Bids cannot normally be retracted. Contact us immediately if you have made a clear error, such as a misplaced decimal, and we will consider it — but we are not obliged to accept a retraction.
We may cancel a bid, withdraw a lot, or void a sale where there is an error in the listing, suspected bid manipulation, or a payment we cannot verify.
Final sale
Auction purchases are final on the same terms as any other sale, including the circumstances preserved by the Refunds and Cancellations policy.
